Artyfact Cuts Arena Duel Entry Fee From 5 USDT to 1 USDT Now

Artyfact has made a major change to its Arena Duel mode. The game has cut the entry fee from 5 USDT to just 1 USDT. The change came after player feedback and aims to make the mode easier for more people to access.

Arena Duel is a competitive 1v1 mode where two players face each other for a reward. When the mode first launched, each player had to pay 5 USDT to enter a match. Now, the same match costs only 1 USDT per player.

This means the entry price has fallen by 80 percent. A player who takes part in ten duels would have paid 50 USDT under the old price. With the new fee, those ten matches cost 10 USDT before any other network costs.

Artyfact shared the change as part of an Arena Duel update. The studio said it had heard feedback from players and wanted to make it easier for more people to join the competition.

A New Price for Arena Players

The lower fee can make a clear difference for players who want to try Arena Duel without a large upfront cost. At 5 USDT, a player needed to commit more money each time they entered a match. At 1 USDT, the same player can take part in more matches with the same amount of USDT.

For example, 5 USDT was enough for only one entry under the old system. That same amount can now cover five entries. A player with 10 USDT can also enter ten matches instead of only two.

This does not mean players are guaranteed to make money. Arena Duel remains a competitive mode where the winner receives the prize pool after the platform fee. The result of each match still depends on the outcome of the duel.

The lower cost mainly changes the amount of money a player must put at risk for each match. It also gives new players a cheaper way to try the mode and learn its rules.

How Arena Duel Works

Arena Duel uses a 1v1 format. Players face one opponent and compete across several rounds. The mode uses a best-of-five structure, with the first player to win three rounds taking the match.

Players can select their weapons before the match and before each new round. This gives them a chance to change their loadout based on the situation.

The Arena also has rules that remove some weapons and features from the normal game. Artyfact has listed restrictions on grenades, grenade launchers, sniper rifles and vehicles. The aim is to keep the duel focused on direct player skill and combat choices.

Arena matches also have their own place in the game. The results appear in Match History, but they do not affect a player’s overall statistics or the main Leaderboard.

The 10 Percent Platform Fee

The new 1 USDT price does not remove the platform fee. Artyfact says a 10 percent platform fee will apply to Arena matches.

The project also says the money from these platform fees will go toward $ARTY buybacks.

This creates a direct link between Arena activity and the ARTY token. Players use USDT to enter the mode, part of the match fees goes to the platform, and Artyfact says that fee will then support purchases of ARTY.

The buyback plan is an important part of the update because the lower entry fee could affect how often people play. If more players enter more matches, the number of paid Arena entries could rise. More entries could then create more fee activity.

However, a lower price does not by itself prove that total fee revenue will rise. The number of matches and the number of active players will matter. The change therefore gives Artyfact a new test: can a much lower ticket price create enough extra activity to support the Arena economy?

What the Fee Means for a Match

The basic fee model is easy to understand.

If two players each pay 1 USDT, the total entry amount is 2 USDT. A 10 percent platform fee is then taken from the match pool. The winner receives the remaining prize amount.

This means the winner does not receive the full 2 USDT. The platform keeps the stated fee, while Artyfact says the collected amount will support ARTY buybacks.

Under the old 5 USDT price, two players would have put 10 USDT into a match before the platform fee. Under the new 1 USDT price, the total is 2 USDT before the fee.

The smaller prize pool is therefore part of the new setup. The main change is that the cost of entry is much lower for each player.

New Arena Play Hours

Artyfact has also set recommended daily Arena Play Hours. The goal is to bring more players into the mode at similar times and make it easier to find an opponent.

The three daily windows are 00:00–02:00 UTC, 13:00–15:00 UTC, and 18:00–20:00 UTC.

These time periods are meant to help with matchmaking. A 1v1 mode needs enough players online at the same time. If too few players are present, a person may have to wait longer for an opponent.

By suggesting set hours, Artyfact can focus player activity into certain parts of the day. This may help create a larger pool of available opponents during those periods.

The Arena is not limited to these windows. They serve as recommended periods for players who want a better chance of finding a match quickly.

Why the Change Matters for Artyfact

The fee cut comes soon after the launch of Arena Duel. The mode was introduced as a new competitive part of Artyfact, with USDT rewards and a connection to the ARTY token economy.

The original 5 USDT entry price created a higher cost for each match. The new 1 USDT price gives the mode a much lower barrier for entry.

For Artyfact, the key question is what happens to player activity after the change. If more people enter the Arena, the mode may have a larger player base and more matches. That could also create more platform fees for ARTY buybacks.

At the same time, the lower fee means each individual match creates a smaller fee amount. The model therefore depends on match volume. More matches would be needed to make up for the lower entry price on a per-match basis.

This makes player activity an important part of the new Arena model.

ARTY Gets a Direct Role

The ARTY token has a central role in the Artyfact ecosystem. Arena Duel adds another connection between the game and the token.

At launch, Arena Duel supported USDT for match entry. Artyfact has also stated that players need to hold at least 1,000 ARTY in their Artyfact wallet to enter the Arena. The project has said that ARTY support for Arena payments would come later.

The buyback system adds another layer. Artyfact says Arena platform fees will fund purchases of ARTY. This means activity inside the game can create a source of funds for token purchases.

It is important to separate the stated plan from its future result. The buyback system depends on actual Arena activity and the amount of fees that the mode produces.

A Cheaper Entry Point for Players

The move from 5 USDT to 1 USDT is simple, but it changes the cost of Arena Duel by a large amount. The new price lets players enter five times as many matches with the same USDT budget.

For Artyfact, the change also creates a new test for the Arena model. The studio has lowered the cost, added recommended play hours and kept the 10 percent platform fee tied to ARTY buybacks.

The next stage will show how players respond to the new setup. Match volume, queue times and overall Arena activity will give a clearer picture of how well the new price works.

For now, the main facts are clear: Arena Duel now costs 1 USDT instead of 5 USDT, the platform fee is 10 percent, and Artyfact says those fees will support $ARTY buy
