Gate AI Teams With XYO to Extend Its Prediction Markets Push

Gate AI, the artificial intelligence arm of crypto exchange Gate, is teaming with XYO to roll out a head-to-head prediction game where players compete against an AI model and each other, with Gate AI providing the AI capabilities and real-time market data and XYO Layer One recording the game activity.

Gate became the first centralized exchange to integrate prediction markets via Polymarket in March 2026 and launched its own Event Contracts product in July. The exchange serves more than 30 million users across 150 countries and ranks second globally by spot trading volume.

Each day, XYO randomly selects three crypto assets from a defined pool listed on Gate exchange, while Gate AI submits its own predictions. Players then have 24 hours to make their predictions on the same assets before the results are revealed the following day.

The format is designed as a head-to-head competition rather than a bet against a consensus market rate. Players assign each asset to multiplier slots and predict whether it will move higher or lower over the defined period, with the results determined using real-time market data from Gate.

“XYO Crypto Cards gives everyone a simple and engaging way to participate in market prediction. By combining AI technology with XYO Layer One’s verification infrastructure, we are creating a new type of interactive digital asset experience.” said Arie Trouw, Co-Founder and CEO of XYO

XYO has been building decentralized physical infrastructure since 2018, before the term DePIN existed, and now runs one of the largest consumer DePIN networks in the world at over 10 million nodes, having processed over 100 billion data queries.

Its Layer One blockchain, XL1, went live in September 2025, built for data rather than for transactions. Within Crypto Cards, it records every player’s selections and predictions before the window opens, keeping a permanent record each match can be checked against.

Gate AI’s models generate the daily predictions players compete against, drawing on the same enterprise infrastructure that routes across more than 200 large language models for its commercial customers. Gate’s Model Context Protocol (MCP) supplies the real-time price data used to settle each result.

“At Gate US, we believe AI will play an increasingly important role in shaping the future of digital assets—not simply through individual features, but by enabling more intelligent connections between users, information, and digital asset ecosystems.” said Laura Liu, COO of Gate US

While the initial phase of the collaboration focuses on Crypto Cards, XYO and Gate AI are also exploring additional applications that combine AI, market intelligence and blockchain infrastructure across the digital asset ecosystem.

About XYO

XYO is the cryptographic proof layer for the real world, turning events, data, and actions into tamper-evident records that any system, enterprise, or end-user can independently verify. At the core is XYO Layer One ($XL1), a data blockchain for cryptographic attestations at scale, paired with XYO Data Lakes for verifiable on- and off-chain storage. With the XYO Developer Toolkit and AI SDK, developers and vibecoders alike can embed cryptographic proof into any application, agent, or workflow in minutes. Since 2018, XYO has been building the proof infrastructure powering geospatial, robotics, AI, and decentralized compute, with one of the largest consumer DePIN networks in production.
